KOTA KINABALU: An unemployed man shot himself in front of his wife-to-be's house in Sabah's northern Kota Marudu district on Monday, after an aunt took his 17-year-old girlfriend to Kota Kinabalu in an apparent attempt to avoid the marriage.
Lily Sulaiman, 27, died after shooting himself with a homemade shotgun at Kampung Patiu at about 11.30pm on June 9, said Kota Marudu district police chief Supt Mohd Isa Yusuf on Friday. No foul play was suspected.
