MALACCA: Malacca police have investigated 29 cases involving illegal moneylenders or 'Ah Long' and arrested 20 people from January until Friday.
Malacca Commercial Crime Investigation Department chief Supt Ee Khong Koy said of the total, 25 cases and 13 individuals were investigated under Section 5(2) of the Money Lenders Act 1951 for operating without licence, involving losses of RM105,320.
