PETALING JAYA: Johor MCA leader Datuk Chua Tee Yong has refuted a news report that he will be leaving his parliamentary constituency of Labis, Johor, to contest in Bandar Tun Razak, Cheras in the 13th general election.
Chua, who is also MCA Young Professionals Bureau chairman, said that the party had always been very open about the choice of candidates and takes into account recommendations from the divisions before deciding on the candidate for a constituency.
