Teman 1Azam boosts 23,500 families’ lives


PADANG SERAI: More than 23,500 families earning below RM2,000 a month have received RM10mil in aid under the Teman 1Azam programme to help improve their livelihood.

Deputy Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Heng Seai Kie said they received the monthly aid from the Welfare Services Department. “A total of RM240mil had been set aside for this since 2010,” she said.
