Cream of the crop

A look at the six teams that made the finals of Tale Spin 2014. NOW in its second year, the Tale Spin storyboarding contest concept gave participating students free reign to weave tales based on their personal interests. The sky was the limit for the contestants, but not everyone chose to go the distance, and even fewer made the final cut.

The annual Newspaper-in-Education (NiE) contest, jointly organised by The Star and Pizza Hut, received 30,000 entries from students across the nation. The published storyboard entries of last year’s winners have indeed set a benchmark for this year’s participants. This time around, there were beautiful entries galore as participants stepped up their game with attractive artwork.
