KUCHING: Thousands of people are expected at Padang Merdeka here today, to witness Tun Abdul Taib Mahmud’s first time celebrating his official birthday as the Head of State.
Taib, 78, took over as the state Governor from Tun Abang Muhamad Salahuddin on March 1 this year.
