Local talents to perform songs by legendary Indian singers


The contributions of notable Malaysian Indians will be honoured at a charity concert tomorrow.

Aca Orchestra Ilayanila project manager Samynathan Rethinam, 59, more popularly known as Acappan, said the organisers wanted to recognise the social contributions of people like PPP president Tan Sri M. Kayveas and vice-president Datuk Maglin Dennis D’Cruz, Alleycats lead vocalist Datuk David Arumugam, National Land Finance & Cooperative Society president Tan Sri K. R. Somasundaram, former national football coach Datuk K. Rajagopal and RTM deputy director Jack Nadarajah.
