NGO gives away free plants to encourage green objectives

ACHAT between two mothers was what led to the establishment of Free Tree Society KL (FTSKL), an environmental NGO that hopes to give away 5,000 free plants annually.

Baida Jane Hercus, 37, the brains behind FTSKL, registered the society in May 2012 and immediately started planting seeds and cuttings in their nursery in Jalan Limau Purut, Bangsar Park, Kuala Lumpur.
