KUCHING: Ulu Sungai Menyang, a wild landscape near Batang Ai National Park that is home to one of the highest concentration of orang utans in Sarawak, is being illegally logged.
Portions of the mountain ranges along the Batang Ai dam reservoir have been striped clean of its valuable timber. The Star received a tip off last week and visited the site, returning with images that showed evidence of the illegal activity.
