MALACCA: Taiwan lived up to its pre-tournament hot favourites billing by bagging the men’s and women’s honours in the inaugural biennial Asian Under-23 Futsal Championships at the Community Sports Indoor Hall at the Krubong Stadium Hang Jebat Sports Complex in Malacca.
The four-day affair witnessed hosts Malaysia, India, Singapore, Bangladesh and Taiwan in the competitive fray which involved a one-round league format with the top two finishers squaring off in the finals.
