JOHOR BARU: The decision for syariah lawyers to produce a certificate of practice before being allowed to practice in Johor will not slow down the court procedure but would infact hasten the cases.
State executive committee for religion Abd Mutalip Abd Rahim said the decision by the Johor Syariah Judicial Department was to ensure that the cases in syariah court are able to run smoothly.
