Go down memory lane eating ‘Aiskrim Malaysia’ while learning about oral care

OVER the years, Malaysians have grown up with a quirky spread of childhood treats including Aiskrim Malaysia, a frozen treat made by filling up and freezing plastic tubes with a variety of uniquely Malaysian flavours.

To preserve a taste of nostalgia and Malaysian culture, Colgate will be hosting an Aiskrim Malaysia Fest at 1Utama shopping centre in Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya from tomorrow to May 20.

The fest is open to the public and visitors will be given an opportunity to taste and vote for their favourite Aiskrim Malaysia from the five available flavours — jagung, sirap bandung, oren, kacang merah and assam boi.

Colgate-Palmolive Marketing Sdn Bhd general manager John Hazlin said: “Most Malaysians grow up with fond memories of childhood delicacies. We hope this Aiskrim Malaysia fest will bring families together and give parents the opportunity to share their childhood memories while creating new ones.”

“More importantly, we are inviting the public to learn about the groundbreaking technology in Colgate oral care products that allow them to enjoy their favourite Malaysian foods year after year, without fear of oral health problems, including teeth sensitivity,” he added.

Voting results will be announced after May 20 in conjunction with the launch of the latest variant of Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief, which is a toothpaste clinically proven to instantly ease discomfort and provide relief from tooth sensitivity.

Throughout the event, Colgate will also host the Instant Relief Challenge where participants stand to win one year’s supply of Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief toothpaste and toothbrushes.
