Getting a hold on children’s grasping power

MY OLDER brother and I would often ask our parents when we were growing up, “How did we all learn to talk when we were toddlers?”

My mother’s response was that “we just did”. Not really the answer we were looking for as we were trying to capture the learning process so we could make our two younger brothers better communicators compared to us.
