WHEN Siti Fatimah Mat Nor, 28, was pregnant last year, she had to fork out as much as RM60 for a return trip from Subang Bestari for her medical check-up in Shah Alam. This was money Siti Fatimah, who was born without legs, could ill afford.

Her husband, who is sole breadwinner for the family of four, works as a storekeeper.
