Missing Brickfields of yesteryear

Sign of the times: With more and more development, Brickfields has become a nightmare for motorists.

EVEN though I was not born and bred in Brickfields, this charming Kuala Lumpur township has left a big impression on me.

From my early childhood right up until today, I have always had a soft spot for this place that was the playground of my grandparents, my mother and her siblings.
