MPKj‘s plan to move morning market yet again meets with objections

The morning market in Persiaran SL 1, Bandar Sungai Long, Kajang is set to be relocated to a vacant site nearby the Taman Taming Indah housing area.

“DON’T kick us around like football”. This is the plea by morning market traders in Persiaran SL 1, Bandar Sungai Long in Kajang.

As a result of complaints over traffic congestion and hygiene, the Kajang Municipal Council (MPKj) plans to relocate the morning market about a few metres away to an empty plot of land beside Taman Taming Indah, a gated and guarded area comprising 226 semi-detached houses.
