COLOURS were the highlight of the day as the annual Hindu Holi Festival took off with a burst of multi-hued powders and the spirit of camaraderie.

Despite the scorching heat, some 7,200 people came together at the Shree Lakshmi Narayan Temple in Kuala Lumpur to celebrate the festival, often referred to as the Festival of Colours.
