Devotees throng temple on Teluk Bahang beach to release candle-lit offerings

COMPANY assistant technician N. Sharmila joined thousands of devotees in releasing candle-lit floats into the sea at the annual Masi Magam Theppa Thirunaal (floating chariot festival) near the Sri Singamugha Kaliamman Temple in Teluk Bahang, Penang.

The 21-year-old was excited on seeing the coastal waters aglow with brightly lit floats of various sizes and shapes made of polystyrene and paper.
