IN A special initiative to commemorate those killed in the Battle of Kampar, the Malaysian Armed Forces Sikh Veterans Association will hold a formal prayer session on the third Sunday of every year.

The association held the first formal prayers last Sunday at the Gurdwara Sahib in Kampar as a tribute to those who perished in the battle that took place on Dec 30 to 31, 1941, and Jan 1 and 2, 1942.
