A trader at the Seri Kembangan New Village wet market throwing rubbish into the roll-on roll-off bin provided by the new waste collection contractor, which began operations on Monday.
TRADERS at the Seri Kembangan New Village wet market in Jalan Pasar were among those left in the lurch when rubbish in the area was left uncollected for a whole week before New Year’s Day.
Seri Kembangan assemblyman Ean Yong Hian Wah attributed the problem to irresponsible waste collection contractors whose contracts were expiring on Dec 31 and would not be renewed.
