SMOOTH as silk – that’s the verdict for the Tomintoul (or “Tom in a towel”) range of whiskies by Angus Dundee Distillers during a recent tasting at The Nightingale in Atria Shopping Gallery, Petaling Jaya.
On hand to guide the roomful of connoisseurs was the company’s brand ambassador, Iain Forteath, who flew about 11,000km from Scotland to supervise the sampling of the boutique brand’s 10-, 14- and 16-year-old whiskies from Speyside.
