Restoration of Astaka

Follow up on Petaling Jayas Astaka field illegal dumping. The construction and home renovation waste was still seen at the Astaka field carpark as of Tuesday afternoon.

OVER the years, the Astaka field has been in a state of neglect until StarMetro’s extensive coverage of the issue in September.

A month later, because of the severity of the problem, the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ)agreed to set aside RM2.6mil to upgrade the field and the facilities there next year.
