SOME 400 fishermen stand to benefit from the 42 artificial reefs dropped into the waters around Pulau Kendi off Penang island’s south-west tip.

In months to come, the patented environment-friendly artificial reefs costing RM600,000 will help to replenish the state’s ocean resources.
