KUCHING: Sarawak is committed to sustainable development of its peatland for agriculture, including oil palm cultivation, said Tan Sri Adenan Satem.

In line with this, the Chief Minister said ongoing research by the state’s Tropical Peat Research Laboratory (TPRL) aimed to develop scientific knowledge and clear understanding on the sustainability of planting oil palm on tropical peat.
