Saving Earth the ‘Green Man’ way

COUNTING the amount of energy saved in the day has been a habit for Matthias Gelber and he has urged others to do the same.

Gelber, dubbed the ‘Green Man’ in 2008 after an online contest in Canada, said the biggest energy culprit in homes was usually the air-conditioner as it consumed about 700kWh to 1000kWh hourly.
