Probiotics manufacturer holds event to foster closer ties with community

OVER 1,000 visitors thronged Yakult’s factory in Seremban during the probiotics manufacturer’s open day held in conjunction with Japan’s sakura matsuri (cherry blossom festival).

The grounds of Yakult’s factory at Oakland Industrial Park here were decorated with sakura trees, giving guests a taste of the famous season in Japan where the festival is celebrated with a host of activities including hanami (cherry blossom viewing) picnics.
