‘Most Putrajaya households actively separate their waste’

SIXTY percent of households that will be affected by the mandatory waste separation at source beginning June 1 are doing it efficiently, according to waste management company SWCorp Malaysia.

SWCorp deputy chief executive officer (management) Datuk Zainul Abidin Abdullah said 396,000kg of recyclable waste had been collected since the implementation on Sept 1 until Dec 10 last year.
