UMP students travel to Banda Aceh to help orphans

BANDA ACEH: Some 230 orphans here received aid from Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) as part of its corporate social responsibility programme.

The overseas charity project was initiated by UMP’s women’s association known as Matahari, and involved 16 students from the Engineering Technology Faculty, two lecturers, 10 students from Banda Aceh’s Universitas Syiah Kuala and 15 Matahari members led by its adviser Datin Fazia Ali.
