Traders at two markets under the jurisdiction of the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) are hoping the authorities will look into the poor and ageing facilities there.
The 40-year-old wet market in Taman Cheras Kuala Lumpur was in dire need of an upgrade, and traders who received Chinese New Year goodies from myPPP (formerly the People’s Progressive Party) Cheras division chief Datuk Andrew Tan Koon Teck sought his help to get DBKL to upgrade the market’s ageing amenities.
