PLAN a family day out to the Season’s Flower Show hosted by EcoWorld at Eco Majestic, Semenyih.
The flower show, which will be held until March 6, features four-themed activities for each weekend, offering families lots of fun activities.
They include Chinese paper-cutting, clay-painting, windmill-making and treasure hunts.
The month-long flower show also features some familiar icons around the world, such as France’s Eiffel Tower, China’s red lanterns, the Netherland’s windmills and clogs, Britain’s red telephone booth and mailbox, and Portugal’s umbrella sky.
These attractions are scattered around the Swan Lake, amid flowers such as sunflowers, gerbera daisies and lantanas.
There is also a flower market offering some of this season’s prettiest blooms for sale.
The Season’s Flower Show is also the place to go to if one is looking for a spot to capture some lovely memories this Chinese New Year.
Eco World Development Group Berhad president and chief executive officer Datuk Chang Khim Wah said the show was the perfect opportunity to showcase the development in the township.
“Since its first launch in May last year, Eco Majestic has seen rapid transformation and today, we have a beautiful environment which we are very proud of,” he said after launching the flower show.
He added that through organising different activities, homebuyers would be able to appreciate the quality of the living environment apart from establishing a spirit of neighbourliness among the community members.
The flower show kicked off with a grand opening featuring a lion dance performance by the Kun Seng Keng Dragon and Lion Dance Association.
To add to the merriment, the cast and director of Malaysian movies Ola Bola and Huat the Fish were also present to entertain and play games with the visitors.
The grand opening ended with a fireworks display.
