MALACCA: Datuk Tan Hor Sam from Kota Laksamana here, who received his Datukship, at the age of 67, said he is proud he earned the Darjah Pangkuan Seri Melaka (DPSM) honorary title purely through merit.
The prominent lawyer, who was running a legal firm in Kuala Lumpur for 18 years since 1977, before moving here, received his Datukship from Malacca Governor Tun Mohd Khalil Yaakob on Nov 14.
