Fashion has been experiencing a boom in all things African, from the recent Guinness adverts starring Congolese “sapeurs” (members of Congolese Society of Ambianceurs and Elegant Persons or SAPE) to Diesel and Edun’s African denim-based capsule collection manufactured entirely in Africa with the finest Ugandan CCI cotton.
