IT’S a hard truth, but not everyone has what it takes to be a volunteer at Protect And Save The Children, a non-governmental organisation that deals with child sexual abuse. It can be traumatising and emotionally draining to deal with the plight of abused children. It’s a paradoxical situation when you consider that most people give their time for such charitable work precisely because they love children.
