AmMetLife CEO Lee Jiau Jiunn said as the Covid-19 situation is constantly evolving, the health and well-being of our customers remain its highest priority.

KUALA LUMPUR: AmMetLife Insurance Bhd (AmMetLife) will extend post-Covid-19 vaccination coverage for all existing and new medical plan customers.

In a statement issued on Monday, it said the coverage was in line with the national Covid-19 immunisation programme.

This year, AmMetLife announced a RM1mil Covid-19 Fund to support customers with the protection they need in mitigating the effects of the pandemic.

“The post-Covid-19 vaccination coverage will form part of the Covid-19 Fund and will be applicable to all individual and group policies, ” it said.

With the coverage, a cash relief of RM300 will be payable to customers who are diagnosed with Covid-19 after receiving the vaccination.

Customers who are hospitalised due to side effects after receiving the vaccination will also be eligible for a RM300 lump sum pay-out.

Additionally, a lump sum of RM25,000 will be payable for death due to Covid-19 after receiving the vaccination.
