i-Stone appoints new chairman

Awang Daud, (pic) a co-founder of Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd, had acquired a 26.98% stake in i-Stone on Aug 11 from One United Equity Sdn Bhd.

PETALING JAYA: Technology firm i-Stone Group Bhd, which reported a drop in its second quarter earnings, has appointed Datuk Awang Daud Awang Putera as its new chairman effective yesterday.

He replaced Datuk Azman Mahmood, who has retired from the company.
