Advancecon gets RM370m West Coast Expressway job

KUALA LUMPUR: Advancecon Holdings Bhd has bagged a RM370mil contract to build part of the West Coast Exprssway stretching from the Assam Jawa interchange to Tanjung Karang interchange.

The company said on Thursday its unit Advancecon Infra Sdn Bhd had received and accepted the letter of award from West Coast Expressway Sdn Bhd.

Under the contract, Advancecon's scope of work includes earthworks, ground treatment works, drainage and box culverts, pavements, bridges, road furniture, erosion sediment and control plan, environmental protection and enhancement.

“The contract period shall be for a period of 30 months commencing from the date of site possession which will be determined later,” it said.

Advancecon Infra's core business is providing earthworks and civil engineering services.

“The group intends to fund the contract via internally generated funds and/ or external borrowings,” it said.
