Trading ideas: Scanwolf, Sasbadi, Mudajaya, Sunsuria, NTPM

Moody's outlook on the Korean banking system has been negative since May 2016.

KUALA LUMPUR: JF Apex Research expects Scanwolf, Sasbadi, Mudajaya, Sunsuria and NTPM to be among the stocks to watch on Monday.

It said Scanwolf is teaming up with Tokyo-listed Nissha Printing Co Ltd's unit, Nissha Industrial and Trading Malaysia Sdn Bhd, to produce plastic related goods, which include luxury vinyl tiles and related products, calendar moulding related products and construction materials.

As for Sasbadi, the group is collaborating with Universiti Malaya (UM) to conduct research and product development on robotics education in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Mudajaya secured an RM810mil job to construct the Ayer Itam-Lebuhraya Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu by-pass in Penang, from Consortium Zenith BUCG Sdn Bhd.

Sunsuria’s 4QFY16 net profit soared 430% on-year, as revenue nearly tripled.

NTPM's net profit dropped 6% on-year in its 2QFY17, due to a decline in foreign currency translation income.

Last Friday, US markets ended flat after financial counters tumbled ahead of Italy's referendum. Earlier, European stocks declined following political uncertainties in Italy and France.

At Bursa Malaysia, the FBM KLCI gained 2.52 points to 1,628.96.

“Following the uncertainty in the US and Europe, the FBM KLCI could remain sideways above the support of 1,610,” said JF Apex Research.
