Petronas will continue to review its strategies


KUALA LUMPUR: Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) says it will keep on reviewing its business strategies to achieve cost competitiveness amid reports that the state-owned energy group is looking to lay off more employees.

“We always look at the business and opportunities to optimise cost-efficiencies,” Petronas president and group chief executive officer Datuk Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin told reporters when asked to clarify reports about the group’s plan to cut more jobs.
