Council draws RM4.5b potential investments from China

NANNING: The East Coast Economic Region Development Council (ECERDC) has secured potential investments of RM4.5bil from China for the construction of renewable energy and advanced chemical factory in Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park.

Its chief executive officer Datuk Seri Jebasingam Issace John (pic) said construction of the factory would commence early next year and was slated for completion early 2018.
