Four key factors for Asean to realise full potential

KUALA LUMPUR: Asean has great prospects given its huge combined market, favourable demographics and natural resources endowment, CIMB Group Holdings Bhd chairman Datuk Seri Nazir Razak said.

However, he said whether the region could realise its full potential would hinge on four key factors, that is, execution of policies, ability to embrace technology, global reform, and managing geopolitical challenge.
