Perak Transit plans to buy land and new buses


KUALA LUMPUR: Perak Transit Bhd, an Ipoh-based bus company, is raising RM10mil from the public through a new crowd funding platform, as it prepares for a listing on Bursa Malaysia later this year.

Managing director Datuk Seri Cheong Kong Fitt said the money raised would be used to purchase more land, provide downpayment for new buses, as well as the upgrade of the Aman Jaya Terminal.
