Management buyout of BAuto may lead to higher dividend payouts, says PublicInvest Research


The growth in Malaysia was driven by the new CX-3 model, while the Philippines market reacted positively to the Mazda2 and CX-5 models.

KUALA LUMPUR : Berjaya Group Bhd's (BGroup) proposed disposal-cum-injection of up to an aggregate of 31.88% equity interest in Berjaya Auto Bhd (BAuto) is a positive move as it would dilute BGroup's interest and may lead to higher dividend payouts by BAuto in the future, said PublicInvest Research (PIVB).
