Ringgit strengthens to RM4.08 against the dollar at the open

At 9 am, the local unit traded higher against the US dollar at 4.3780/3830 from 4.3870/3930 on Thursday

KUALA LUMPUR : The ringgit strengthened against the US dollar at opening today on buying interest and amid stronger oil prices, dealers said.

At 9 am, the ringgit was quoted at 4.0800/0880 versus the US dollar from 4.1300/1380 yesterday.
