MAHB says 26% of klia2 maintenance plan for grouting done

In February, MAHB completed four locations on the parking apron, out of 39 planned locations for 2016. 

“Therefore the remaining planned locations for grouting injection works scheduled for 2016 have now been reduced to 29 locations including four locations on the taxiway,” it said.

MAHB said this new maintenance method resulted in a significant improvement in the incidents of sudden depression and significantly reduced the occurrence of ponding at klia2.
