Petronas Gas secures RM2.2bil term loan from Mizuho Bank


PETALING JAYA: Petronas Gas Bhd has secured US$500mil (RM2.2bil) term loan from Mizuho Bank Ltd which would be used to finance the group’s and/or its subsidiaries’ general corporate funding purposes including, but not limited to, capital expenditure.

Petronas Gas told the stock exchange yesterday that it had signed a facility agreement with Mizuho Bank Ltd, which was the mandated lead arranger and the lenders Mizuho Bank Ltd Labuan branch and Mizuho Bank (Malaysia) Bhd.

It said the facility should have a tenure of five years from the first drawdown.
