You may or may not know this, but in fact, many camera makers are aware of this and have employed the best industrial designers on the planet – specifically, Italian and German car designers – to design some landmark cameras.

For example, Nikon employed Giorgetto Giugiarro of Italdesign to help design the classic Nikon F3 and quite a few subsequent Nikon flagship cameras.
