Ahead of his fourth adventure, planned for a 2016 launch, the treasure-hunter stars in a video presenting Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, a compilation that assembles his first three chapters remastered for PlayStation 4.
On Oct 7, gamers will discover the hero Nathan Drake on Sony's latest console. Previously released for PS3, Drake's Fortune, Among Thieves and Drake's Deception will be available in a digitally remastered.
It's the perfect occasion to relive (or simply discover) the character's many adventures as he travels the world in search of invaluable treasures, some of which belonged to his ancestor Francis Drake, an infamous pirate and explorer.
Created in 2007 exclusively for PS3, the franchise has taken players on a tour to the four corners of the globe, from the tropical Amazonian forest in search of the hidden treasure of El Dorado to the biting cold of the Himalayas on the trail of a sacred stone and the desert of the Middle East to discover a lost city.
In the next chapter, A Thief's End, players will find themselves on the island of Madagascar in order to retrieve an artefact in the hands of a pirate.

To present the compilation, Sony and series developer Naughty Dog have pulled out all the stops. The introduction video resembles a big-budget Hollywood movie.
With nearly 20 million copies sold worldwide in the past eight years, the videogame has been of interest to movie studios for some time.
Announced in 2009, the film based on the adventures of Nathan Drake is expected to hit theatres in summer 2017. For the moment, no director or actor has been linked to the project.
Chris Pratt of Jurassic World and Guardians of The Galaxy fame has turned down the role initially attributed to Mark Wahlberg. Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci, Amy Adams and Scarlett Johansson have also been linked to the film. — AFP Relaxnews
