After teasing the colours at launch, Samsung releases two very attractive finishes for their flagship smartphones.
There is no doubt that the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are the best-looking Android smartphones that Samsung has produced so far and while the company teased the Blue Topaz colour for the S6 and Emerald Green for the S6 Edge at launch, it's only now that they are available for purchase locally.
The Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, which were launched in April, had until now only been available in White Pearl, Black Sapphire and Gold Platinum.
Locally, the Blue Topaz Galaxy S6 (and the other colours) and the Emerald Green Galaxy S6 Edge will only be available with 32GB of storage, at least for now.
The Galaxy S6 Edge in White Pearl, Black Sapphire and Gold Platinum have been bumped up in storage size, and will be available in two capacities – 32GB and 64GB.
Both models have a 16-megapixel main camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The main camera has optical image stabilisation built-in for steadying shaky shots.
A new feature called Quick Launch allows users to launch the camera from any screen in just 0.7 seconds by double tapping the Home button.
The devices have a quad-HD Super Amoled screen but only the Galaxy S6 Edge’s display curves all the way to the sides.
