Autodesk technology shapes Oscar-winning films

UNSUNG HERO: Autodesk's 3D animation tool enabled most of the effects on Big Hero 6.

Big Hero 6 is notably the first feature to utilise Hyperion, new state-of-the-art rendering software created by Walt Disney Animation Studios' technology team, in collaboration with production artists.

OTHERWORLDLY EFFECTS: Autodesk tools were also used on the Guardians of The Galaxy movie. — AFP
