KUALA LUMPUR: They may be close friends but Feliciano Lopez will not give any quarter to Spanish compatriot David Ferrer in Sunday’s Malaysian Open tennis final.

The 34-year-old Lopez has a strong bond with the 33-year-old Ferrer. They have been doubles partners and combined together to finish fourth at the 2012 London Olympics.
